What is the weather like in September in Ericeira, Portugal?

The wedding will be formal. we suggest wearing something elegant but comfortable. As the evening may get a little chilly, we kindly advise you to bring a light jacket or something warm to stay comfortable during the evening.

What is the dress code for the second day event?

How far is the venue from Lisbon Airport?
The Hotel Aethos is approximately a 45-minute drive from Lisbon Airport (LIS), which is the closest major international airport. We recommend arranging transport in advance, and we can assist you with transfer options if needed.

Do I need a visa or ETIAS to travel to Portugal?
U.S. citizens can travel to Portugal visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism, so no visa is needed to attend our wedding in September 2025.
Just make sure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from Portuga.
The new ETIAS travel authorization system won’t be in effect until late 2025, so you won’t need to worry about that for the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?
We’d love to have all our loved ones with us, but due to venue size and other arrangements, we are currently limiting the guest list to those specifically invited. If you are unsure whether you can bring a plus one, please check your invitation details or contact us directly.

Ericeira is a beautiful seaside town known for its charming streets and fantastic surf spots. If you’d like to explore the area, we recommend checking out the beaches, walking around the old town, or visiting local restaurants and cafés.

Do I need to bring a power adapter for my devices?
Yes, in Portugal, the power plugs are type F, and the voltage is 230V with a frequency of 50Hz. If your devices use a different plug type, be sure to bring a suitable adapter.
